User’s Guide

To find any posting or topic that interests you, click a highlighted date on the calendar, or type a keyword into the “search” field, or select a  month’s worth of blogs from the Archives. Highlighted words in the postings will link you (in another tab) to an article or explanation elsewhere on the Web. I try to use links sparingly, but not all of my readers will be familiar with some of the Japanese terms or places mentioned (or if they are, might wish to read a bit more about them).
